    Busy

I've been a lazy person for such long time.

I would drive to meccas across the road.

I would starve myself to avoid getting up to find food.

I would stop playing video games that requires too much thinking.

I would go invisible in msn to avoid talking to people.

I would not pickup my phone to avoid any possible disturbance to my life.

Outside work, i'm switched to hibernation outside work.Procastinating on every second i've got.

But fuck, can't afford to do so any longer.

Got up around 10 for the past 3 days, went to meet up with potential tenants, arrange for the mortgage settlement, get my bloody key to the property, pickup in laws, moving, moving, i mean MOVING, buying second hand furniture, more moving, rent wedding suit, fill out invitations, fill out miscellaneous forms, putting rental adds on the net, hair cut, giving real estate agent shit big time for fucking up every single process of my parents' investment property...

Had a long chat with a friend today, nice to find a piece of quite on a Sunday arvo.

Fuck, i'm tired and probably got swine flu.

PS Sorry to that friend i've rang for direction, i'm desperate at the time and google earth is playing up on me on 3g network==

PSS i'm seeking legal action against 华人地产同盟...

Being Nostalgic on a Quite Wkeend

    Another week passed.

    I'm still playing drakensang.

Didn't get much chance to touch Bioshock, since i knew i'll be scared and i couldn't be bothered to be scared.

Looks like another big wave of office politic is comming. If nothing dramatic happens, i'll be right into it in 3 months time.

On the side note, there were a large group of people visited my office on Friday. Stuart, who sat next to me claimed to over heard their conversation. The line "this whole office will be available by November" is pretty shocking.

In fact, it even caught the unit head's attension. He rush into the treaop's head's office after he heard us talking about it. When he came out, he said it's just a buidling renovation.

    "No shit." Said Stuart.

Yes, no shit. Or, who knows.

Went to visit my new apartment today.

    Everything's finally completed.

Still looking messy tho, dam construction company didn't even do a proper clean up.

Smoking alone in the balcony, wondering how long would i stay here.

My car gave up on me once again, flat battery thanks to the highly advance Subaru security system which requires you to drive it at least once a week to sustain the battery level.

Just happened that my roadside assistance subscription also expired in March.

Thanks to google and youtube, i've manage to jump start it myself, while learning how to make a smoke bomb from scratch.

I took it for a long drive to charge up the battery afterwards.

On the way to Hurstville, passing airport, looking back at the days i've driven over this same old road...

Wonder how much longer i'll still have this car.

Last night, i went to bed at dawn, the perfect sleep time according to my biological clock.

Sun rise through layers of thick cloud have dye everything around in bright red.

    It's beautiful.

It's freezing cold and i walk outside and had another smoke.

Bah, don't suppose i'll get to see that again for a while.

PS special thanks to my manager and he's dad for donating me a custome made wedding cake from their cake factory. Really made one hell of a difference.

    Food Court

2 days ago, i finally went to the bank and sort out my stolen bank card.

Found out that Rudd money's in, withdraw 200 bucks.

    I'm officially out of porverty.

So i finally have money to eat, lunch that is.

Anyway, i went down to this food court in chinatown, where i get my cigarrets yesterday.

There's a Japanese noodle place deep deep inside.

It's quite unique in the sense that, it only offer 6 choices of noodle/rice and nothing else. The pictures look doll and only thing standout is the japanese writing on the wall.

Noodles ranging from 8 bucks to 13 is fairly expensive for food court standard.(Yes, i'm a married chinese man so i can get away of being cheap!)

    Oh, it's closed on monday.

Mmm, in the heart of chinatown, every other stores around were bombarded with random food photos.

So i went back today, thinking dam, i want to try it.

99% of the times, this kind of curiosity wouldn't do me any good.

Fortunely, this is that one time where i actually get something out of it.

So, i paid 10 bucks, for a bowl of noodles, 1 thin piece of seaweed, 3 thin slices of japanese pork (very thin).

    That's all.

Dam, the soup is amazingly thick.

This is what a genuine pork bone soup should look and taste like.

None of that milky white bullshit you see in aijen or ichiban, it's like melted chocolate.

It's quite surprising to find decent soup in a food court, many people might think it's made up of nothing but MSG and potato sarch.

Hey, you can't fake the taste, not to mention the gigantic pork rib you see in the kitchen (literally 3 pigs cut in half lying on the table inside-_-').

    Highly recommanded,especially in winter time.

What have i been doing lately?

Been under alot of stress lately.

Life, wedding, career, mortgage and porverty.

So i need to find ways to escape from everyday life.

    First, i've turned to reading.

Came accros this autobiography post on tianya, called <<打拼六个人的江湖路>>

Like the title, the story over 10 years of time spam, looks at the lives of 6 teenagers growing up to be partners in crime. The story is well structured and goes deep into the psychological changes and development of these characters over the years. I could say alot more, but hey, read it yourself.

    Highly recommanded.

Next, i've download tones of videos games.

After wow, i've never really played much games. Wii felt more like a novelty item which most people buy it, play it for a month and live it there to collecting dust for the rest of it's existence.

Having recently bought a new PC, i've decide to look around for a new game to play.

Online gaming is out of the option, i don't have the time and can't afford to drown into it again.

It's hard to find anything slightly decent in a single player environment.

    I don't have a playstation3, PC gaming is a dying business.

Looking at recent releases, sure, the graphics have improved drastrically over the years, but the actual game playing still remains much unchanged. There were far too many flight simulation and first person shooting game, which you just can't get your head around. Then there's the sports games which i'm never a fan of.

I've donwload this single player RPG game, called Draken Sang.

It's developed by Ze Germans. A beautiful game, in terms of graphic, does look very promissing despite the limited combat options.

Then, 2 days later, i found Bioshock.

    It's simple amazing.

Growing up in the Playstation era, one of the biggest regred in life is the fact that i've never gotten to play Silent Hill. I've actually manage to read the whole walktrhough on the internet just to get the story, but somehow never got around to play it.

Well, here comes my second chance.

Bioshock, release in 2007, is a first person shooting game which truely freaks you out.

The story starts with a plane crash, which the unnamed main character landed on an island with an elevator decent into the deep bottom of the sea. You'll then find yourself trapped in a 1960s City, unarmed and surrounded by supernatural beings (or simply people exposed to genetic disorder and gone nuts).

    The graphic is amazing.

The moment the elevator decents, i started to press the escape key, hopping i can save the game and read some walkthroughs. But, it didn't work==

As soon as the elevator reached the end, you'll witness the first murder from the small window. An old lady with a knife slicing up another aircrash victim who arrived earlier.

Then the old lady turns to the elevator and look into the window, asking if there's anyone in there. Then spend a while trying to open up the elevator door. Smashing the window with a rubbish bin, shaking the whole elevator, start cutting through with her knife..

This whole time, all you can do is standing there, hoping that you'll make it through...

Fuck, this is much from freightening than any horror flicks on the market.

Let me know if anyone's interested, i've got the cracked version.

    Late Night

    It's late.

For once, I think I can actually sleep, that's if I go to bed right now.

    But I can't and it's late.

    Bloody Late.

    Well actually not really.

It's late for work, but it's still fairly early if I'm doing anything else but work.

The problem is, I am working. Resume writing to be precise.

Looking back a few post, when I'm complaining about the monotonous life, I guess the grass is always greener on the other end and you will have to pay to get in.

I hate life as much as life hates me. Although I'm sure it probably also likes me a little and vice versa.

Oh well, FIREFOX's auto-spell check is getting bloody annoying when typing random junks like this. Felt like i need to google every 10 words to find out the right spelling. Suppose it's the last thing in the world to prevent people like me turning illiterate (how ironic when i can't even spell that right the first time).

Anyway, I'm done procastinating, back to work.

    塞翁失马

    What a day.

In the morning, i got up late, got a letter from the police station, they've found my wallet.God, it's the fourth time that i've lost my wallet.Last 3 times, i got it back without a scratch. This time, all the money and key card's gone.I've actually manage to withdraw my entire life time saving (600 bucks) out of the bank just before i dropped it.

    Dam.

So anyway, i got to work. Got told that all the rates got stuffed up on month end. MONTH END!

    Who looks after that?

    Me-_-'...

So the manager gave it to me hard, and than he's manager gave it to him hard, and the chain effect went on for a while.

Spent first 5 hours at work staring at Reuters windows trying to find historic rates to undo what's been done. Haven't done that for years.

    Dam.

Later at night, i got pull into a room. Spent 30 minutes talking. It's one of them 30 minutes you'll remember 10 years down the track.

    Anyway, what a day.
