Been thinking lately, what will happen if Citi closed down.

 

I mean it happened to worldcom, it happen to Enron, so why can't it happen to Citi.

There are still 450 yard USD worth of subprime provision, which they will continue to write off.

 

We're also using mark to market accounting, which means alot of the profits from previous years are pretty much fictional, as the previous expectation far too optimistic.

 

Share price went down from USD 55 down to USD 30 in just a few months. Wall Street Analyst all downgrade Citi to a sell recommandation.

 

Wow, i mean i'll lose my job, but dam, so excited to see something huge like this happen around you. Nothing beats the thrill of a big old surprise when you wakeup in the morning....

Woke up, thought it's time to get up, realize i haven't made the accomadation arrangement for Moon and Umiga, so i got up.

First, dam what's with Facebook== it's so 1990s.. why is it so big all of a sudden.. never realize that many ppl's on it. bebo era... ergh

 

Secondly, we have an old lady in our department. Very mean, very selfish, very annoying. If she wants you to do something she'll make sure ur manager and ur manager's manager is fully aware that you haven't done it. She's got 20 years of experience in Citi. Yet, She doesnt know excel nor word. Took her 3 days to understand ctrl + v, another 30 seconds to allocate the v on the keyboard. So, out of curiosity, i ask the guy next to me, who did she do when she's in cgb.

 

Apparently, they work for the manual funds transfer team. MFT. There were 6 of them in the team. Manually transfering money from accounts for everyday people like you and me. So the process goes, one person answer the call, second person will draft the request, one person will check the draft, one person will process the request based on the draft, and one person check the processed draft and finally the last person call back to inform the customer that the transfer have been completed. No wonder they shut down the whole department==

 

I've changed alot lately. i've realized that from my work. I suppose all these big talk and advices from manager finally sunk into me. I don't hold on to anything anymore. i show up, do what i need to do, look at what fucked up, and then walk around, drink some Coke zero, sit back down, work on my projects.

 

On a brighter note, the annoying malaysia have finally resigned. I suppose it's a releive for the person who sits next to me.

 

Talking about the person next to me. On my Right, there's this guy from Dubbo. As mentioned in previous blog, he's got an UAI of 98. Didn't go to uni, since he's desperate to leave home. Well, being a homosexual, it's probably quite hard for him to survive in the outback. He's an interesting fella. Well presented and have a good command of english. Reads SMH and Financial Review. Hates the world and not afriad to show it.

 

On my left, there's a very nice old guy. He's cool. The real encyclepedia of the floor. Have amazing chinese resturant connections. Telling he's son off cause he stays home and play video game all day after work and not motivated to go further. When the son on 200k a year being a senior IT consultant. Also got another son who's a doctor at St George Private. Hmmmm... Jenny might know him. Well i guess he's got a point about he's two sons lacked in enthusiasm, considering he's nethew is the cheif operation officer (one step away from CEO) at MAQ== Above all, he's a very interesting guy. Extremely fun to talk to, since he's full of politcally incorrect comments about people at work=-=

 

Anyway, just felt like i'm back in uni days again. Life is quite, not much stress, slow, low volumn. I'll enjoy it till next year.

又到星期天下午，决定放弃CFA考试的刹那，忽然间什么压力都没了。算了，再懒散一段时间吧。

 

至于工作，最近一直很懒散。该不用管的就直接不管。自己那份工作被自己AUTOMATE了以后，多出了不少空闲时间，可以自己玩玩自己的PROJECT。经过几次和manager和unit head的长谈，觉得应该在2年内不会离开吧。人与人之间也比以前好多了，因为上面的人都比较信任我，所以同级的争端反而就无所谓了。

射手座　缓慢助听器

 

　　射手座的人对于计画这个东西相当的敏感，他们害怕出错，会想到所有错误的可能，所以一旦在中间有什么差错，他们会非常的震惊与不耐烦，他们会觉得出错的状况都是别人引起，极少想到时间的问题，他们常常会忘记时间要与空间和人结合，而不是像演奏会前一样，可以排练到毫无差错。

结婚那方面，一直在收集资料，最近还得拿着一大堆东西找JP签名，希望一切能顺利吧。

第2名：射手座

玩心很重射手座男生，一旦下定决心踏入礼堂结婚，就代表他想改变自己，开始适应婚姻，好好经营家庭生活。这时候的心态，让他很愿意凡事配合老婆，不管是相处时的小细节、或是生活中的大方向，他都交给老婆全权处理，总之只要能让老婆开心，又不改变他已经习惯的婚姻生活，他都蛮无所谓的。射手男在婚姻中，为了避免争执，会尽量不跟对方唱反调，以理性的态度想办法和老婆沟通，如果真的解决不了，他宁愿逆来顺受也不会去反抗。

回来前在山东街上买了本翻版的飘渺之旅，又看了一遍。因为很久以前看的，觉得好像看新的小说一样。结果没日没夜的看了一个星期。

 

最近很多感触，对很多事情的看法都淡薄了。
